Corvallis Press is a small publisher dedicated to offering high-quality fiction novels to the reading public. Our standards are high and we pay an advance plus 25% electronic and 10% print royalties.

Our goal at Corvallis Press is to publish books that will resonate with readers and build our writers’ careers. We have a comprehensive marketing plan that includes heavy social networking by our on staff publicity person, direct contact with bookstores and libraries, book signings, foreign sales to major publishing houses, and audio books.

We are a new publisher, but not new to publishing. Please check out our submissions requirements and consider working with us to help build your writing career.

Submissions

Corvallis Press is looking for excellence.  We want characters to remember and love, settings we want to visit, and stories that lift us out of our lives for a moment and that we will remember long after we close the book. If this describes your book, then we should talk.

Non-fiction will be considered. Please give us a summation of your qualifications.

Send us your book with a one page synopsis. If you have marketing ideas we are open to what you want to do, and are willing to include your ideas in our marketing strategy. First time writers will be considered.

We pay an advance against future royalties.
